Civic Technology

Civic technology is an exciting development in the future of the relationship between communities, technology and government. Civic technology brings together open civic data, technology and a set of practices that emphasize citizen involvement, coproduction and collaboration. Some of the practices involved include Code for America Fellowships and Brigades, Hackathons and Civic Hacking and involvement of many sectors in planning and development.
